A tiny hamlet in rural Oxfordshire, one day in Summer, at the turn of the century. Seen through the eyes of a young girl, we watch the inhabitants' lives unfold in drama, dance and song, accompanied by a live band.
In parts sad, heart-warming, exciting and uplifting, Lark Rise celebrates a way of life now disappeared from our society. A gem!
