A Man for All Seasons
By Robert Bolt
Directed by: Helen Arbon
When British statesman Sir Thomas More isn't prepared to put pressure on the Pope to annul the marriage of King Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, More is on a collision course with the monarch who - despite his admiration for More - isn't known to let anyone stand in his way over anything.
More stands by his religious principles and prepares to leave the royal court. The King and his loyalists led by the redoubtable Thomas Cromwell aren't appeased by this and push for More to change his mind or face charges of treason.
