Our July production Constellations - Nick Payne's spellbinding play showing how even the smallest events can shape our lives in many different ways - is set to be performed at Colchester's Headgate Theatre along with its July performance run at the Quay.
It's some while since an SDS production was performed away from the Quay, so we're very excited to be involved in this venture: many thanks go to Constellations director and SDS committee member Darryl Crawley for arranging this.
The Headgate Theatre is an intimate and pleasant space and, like the Quay with SDS, home to a local amateur theatre group and with full theatre facilities including a bar and hospitality. It should prove an interesting and enjoyable experience for the cast and crew involved in the production, and perhaps it could be the first of future ventures of this type.
